4 eggs slightly beaten
2 mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup water
1 cup spelt or almond flour
¼ tsp sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup walnuts chopped
4 tbsp maple syrup for serving
- Preheat waffle iron
- Whisk together the eggs, banana, water and vanilla
- Add flour, cinnamon, walnuts and baking soda into the egg mixture
- Grease preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or oil (it depending on what type of waffle iron you have)
- Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron
- Cook until golden or timer goes off (4mins)
- Serve hot with a dash of maple syrup, coconut oil or butter
