It’s time for a good snack. Crunchy Sesame Candy Bars is the answer. It’s so addictive and full of wholesome goodness. It’s really nice on it’s own or with a cup of tea. It’s great for any occasion. This is a popular Chinese (& other countries) snack.... The ingredients are simple and cheap. Making it is easy... The amount here is enough to make a big tray.

2C sesame seeds (roasted)
1C corn-free confectioners' (powdered) sugar (click here for recipe)
3T butter

Roast the sesame seeds in a wide based frying pan on amedium fire. Keep stirring to make sure they brown evenly to a light golden color. It took me about 10 minutes. Remove it into a metal or glass bowl.

Put the butter and sugar into the pan. Keep stirring until the sugar is completely melted, without any lumps left and light caramel in color.

Add in the roasted sesame seeds and stir well. Pour it out onto a shallow cookie sheet, and press it out with the back of a spoon. Then use a knife to cut into the number of pieces you want. Work fast before the candy hardens.

When it is cold, you can easily break them off and enjoy with your favorite tea or just on its own
